…do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4:6

There are times in our lives when the night seems extra long. The valley seems to never end. And our hope fades into the darkness around us. It is in those seasons, rather than growing in anxiousness, we should push forward in faithful prayer. It is in those nights that we fall to our knees, clinging to the solid rock of Christ! We cry out to our firm and unshakeable foundation.

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. – Psalm 121:1-2

You need not fear the terrors in the night! The God who made the heavens and the earth is with you!

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

So when the valley continues on before you, keep your trust firmly rooted in your refuge and fortress–our God! He will not leave or forsake you. He is walking it with you.

That is what this little print is about. The prayer times when the night seems darkest, yet we remember where our help comes from, and find joy, peace, and comfort in the midst of the struggle. Because we find ourselves with him.
